We have been host to a multitude of satisfied customers for many years,

Although we are situated close to the busy city centre ,our rooms are nevertheless very quiet ,
and most of them face a garden, the others face a courtyard.

The PENSION ASTRA is located near the University Clinic, City Hall and the City-Centre are only a couple of blocs away.

You will find excellent public transport facilities to all the major sights in Vienna right outside the hotel.

Close by, in Florianigasse you will find a broad selection of small restaurants, which cater to various tastes.
Only a bloc away lies the University-Campus, where you can sit in the open air cafés, or go jogging on the campus grounds.

How To Reach Us
You will find our pleasant and convenient house on Alserstrasse, just behind the City hall of Vienna
near underground stop "U2" and approximatley
15 minutes from West.
 By public transport
 from the Airport: take the  CAT (City Airport Train) o Vienna center or with the airport bus toWestbahnhof bus
to WESTBAHNHOF

from WESTBAHNHOF: take the subway U6 direction FLORIDSDORF for 4 stops, until ALSER STRASSE,
then change to tram 43 ,direction SCHOTTENTOR for 1 stop

from SÜDBAHNHOF: bus 13A until the end of the line SKODAGASSE/ ALSERSTRASSE

from downtown: tram 43/44 from SCHOTTENTOR for 4stops

By car from SALZBURG or GRAZ

Go direction centre until you reach GÜRTEL, turn left into GÜRTEL and follow it until Subway station JOSEFSTÄDTERSTRASSE , then turn right at the next traffic light into ALSER STRASSE.
