Enjoy your stay in Vienna in a nice and quiet guesthouse with a long tradition, that dates back to the beginning of the last century. We have been host to a multitude of satisfied customers for many years, and many of our guests keep coming back again and again.

Although we are situated close to the busy city centre ,our rooms are nevertheless very quiet , and most of them face a garden, the others face a courtyard.

The PENSION ASTRA is located near the University Clinic, City Hall and the City-Centre are only a couple of blocs away.

You will find excellent public transport facilities to all the major sights in Vienna right outside the hotel.
Close by, in Florianigasse you will find a broad selection of small restaurants, which cater to various tastes. Only a bloc away lies the University-Campus, where you can sit in the open air cafés, or go jogging on the campus grounds.

The PENSION ASTRA is a small, quiet place, with a welcoming, informal atmosphere.

How To Reach Us

 By public transport

 from the Airport: take the airport bus to WESTBAHNHOF

from WESTBAHNHOF: take the subway U6 direction FLORIDSDORF for 4 stops, until ALSER STRASSE, then change to tram 43 ,direction SCHOTTENTOR for 1 stop

from SÜDBAHNHOF: bus 13A until the end of the line SKODAGASSE/ ALSERSTRASSE

from downtown: tram 43/44 from SCHOTTENTOR for 4stops

By car from SALZBURG or GRAZ

Go direction centre until you reach GÜRTEL, turn left into GÜRTEL and follow it until Subway station JOSEFSTÄDTERSTRASSE , then turn right at the next traffic light into ALSER STRASSE.
We can offer a limited number of parking spots for 12.-Euro per day.Otherwise, you can get an allday-ticket for the streetparking at 3,60 Euro per day.
